Atlas Environmental is a full service environmental consulting firm that serves clients throughout the southeastern United States. The staff at Atlas is comprised of botanists, designers, ecologists, geologists, scientists, and wildlife biologists enabling Atlas to manage a large variety of work ranging from environmental assessments and permitting to restoration and monitoring. Atlas also values education and training and keeps its employees on the leading edge with classes, seminars, and training sessions on topics like stormwater management, jurisdictional determinations, natural channel design, and restoration. Atlas serves a variety of clients including engineers, architects, land planners, municipal, institutional, commercial, residential, government, and private identities. Founder and President of Atlas Environmental Jennifer Robertson has over 26 years of experience in wetland and natural resource evaluation, protection, mapping, and permitting. Jennifer has conducted field surveys and research along the east coast from Alabama to Virginia. She has managed habitat assessment studies and extensive biological surveys across the Southeastern United States. Jennifer’s solid relationships with regulatory agencies and clear understanding of environmental rules and regulations have proved beneficial with clients affording Atlas Environmental to grow into one of the most respected and successful firms in the southeast. Jennifer enjoys working with clients who include local governments, school systems, engineering firms, architecture firms, landscape architect firms, real estate agents, residential developers, private property owners, commercial developers, and industrial developers as well as navigating the complicated road map of regulations while obtaining approvals for the highest and best use of projects. Jennifer is the lead scientist for Atlas Environmental.

Jennifer enjoys boating, fishing, any beach and any mountain, landscaping and gardening, softball, corn hole, and time with family. She started her entrepreneurial career long ago as her chapter’s Junior Achievement president.

Austin Baggarley joined Atlas Environmental in 2015. Austin has conducted natural resource surveys for Atlas in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina across varying landscapes. Austin conducts stream and wetland delineations, oversees construction of stream and wetland restorations, conducts stream and wetland monitoring, completes Clean Water Act 404 and 401 permitting and consultation, coordinates with regulatory agencies, and completes water quality monitoring. He is responsible for preparing agency packages and submittals in order to keep projects on schedule.

Austin enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, grilling, and other outdoor activities. He enjoys traveling with friends and family to the coast.

Jacob Sinclair, a professional Geologist, joined Atlas Environmental in 2016. Jacob has conducted natural resource surveys for Atlas across the mountains, piedmont, and coastal plains of Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. He is the company contact for GIS, AutoCAD, and restoration design. After completing all four Rosgen classes in one year Jacob advanced to handling Atlas responsibilities for the design of stream and wetland restoration. Jacob participates in natural channel design, conducting stream stability assessments, assessing mitigation potential for onsite resources, and coordinating with the regulatory agencies to obtain approval of plans.

Jacob enjoys various outdoor adventures including white water kayaking and rock climbing all over the Southeast United States and accomplishing mountaineering objectives in the Cascades.
